Our
Story
The story behind OctoSpy
OctoSpy was founded by five students from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg to engage children in technology and science by building a temperature sensor that will help fill data gaps in the oceans. Over the course (Leading in a digital world) of 10 weeks, we have interviewed relevant individuals and conducted our own research to effectively create engagement and knowledge among the future generation. Meet the Team
This is the amazing team behind OctoSpy! With our different skills and backgrounds we complement each other in a great and innovative way. Everyone has been involved in all parts of developing OctoSpy but below you can see a brief description of our main responsibilities.
CEO
Agnes Magnusson
Main responsible for our presentation video, the building of the sensor as well as data uploading and the background analysis.
Project Manager
Elina Olausson
Main responsible for building the website, the background analysis and for the instructions of how to build the sensor.
Financial Manager
Klara Ahlström
Main responsible for ordering all material, constructing the website, making power points to all pitches and developing the app.
Design and Product development Manager
Saga Olausson
Main responsible for the backgrund analysis, developing our pitch, the design of the sensor and for the design and development of our app and poster.
IT Manager
Viktoria Andersson
Main responsible for the building as well as the technical parts of the sensor, and constructing the websites, both this one and the data uploading.
